[Electronic Newspaper] Non-conductive fire extinguisher 'Enclear' proves its ability to extinguish electric fires with NO electric shock
2024.05.22
‘ENCLEA’, a non-conductive reinforced fire extinguishing liquid with no risk of electric shock or short-circuiting, showcased its technology through a public demonstration. It was emphasized that electrical appliances operate normally even in liquid fire extinguishing fluid and that no short circuit occurs even when bare wires are inserted.
TJT Plus exhibition booth set up at the International Fire Safety Expo
TJT Plus participated in the International Fire Safety Expo held at EXCO in Daegu for three days from the 22nd to the 24th and introduced non-conductive reinforced liquid extinguishing agent and Enclear, a fire extinguisher product. Enclear is a domestic product developed to quickly extinguish fires in electric vehicles, electric ships, ESS, and robots using lithium-ion batteries without fear of electric shock. It is the only non-conductive liquid fire extinguisher that responds to AC class fires and has received type approval and inspection certificate from KFI (Korea Fire Industry & Technology Institute).
TJT Plus actively announced that Enclear fire extinguishing fluid does not conduct electricity. Through the demonstration, numerous visitors to the booth were shown the normal operation of electrical equipment using Enclear fire extinguishing fluid. It was also proven that if a stripped wire is placed in water or general reinforcing liquid, the earth leakage circuit breaker will operate, but no abnormalities will occur in Enclear fire extinguishing liquid.

Enclear received a lot of attention as the main focus of this year's fire safety expo was lithium-ion battery fire response, eco-friendliness, and robots. Unlike other lithium-ion battery fire products that use the name 'fire extinguisher', it was also noticeable that Enclear was the only one that used the name 'fire extinguisher'. To officially use the name 'fire extinguisher', KFI type approval and inspection certificate must be obtained.
This year's Fire Safety Expo, co-hosted by Daegu City and the National Fire Agency and organized by KFI, KOTRA, EXCO, Korea Fire Industry Association, and the Mutual Growth Committee, is the largest ever with 389 organizations and organizations operating 1,397 booths. Its scale is as high as its reputation as a global exhibition in the firefighting field.
Through the exhibition, TJT Plus expects that the introduction of Enclear will rapidly increase not only in large corporations, public institutions, and local governments, but also in general public facilities. During the exhibition period, consultations with industrial sites, multi-use facilities, and defense industry officials are also scheduled. Currently, Enclear is being used in various places including Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Motors, Shinsegae Group, Nonghyup, LH, and Camco.
A TJT Plus official said, “There is a lot of social interest in extinguishing electrical fires, such as electric vehicle fires, but uncertified products are still distributed in many places.” He added, “Through this exhibition, we will promote ‘Enclear,’ an officially certified product, and contribute to fire safety.” “He said.
